Agored Cymru has over 30 years’ experience of offering Access to HE Diplomas. In that time, we have created life-changing opportunities and enabled thousands of learners to progress into Higher Education.
As a licenced Access Validating Agency (AVA) based in Wales we develop, quality assure and award the Access to HE Diploma through our providers in Wales and beyond.
The Level 3 Access to HE Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) and aimed at those learners who wish to enter higher education without following a traditional educational pathway.
We are rated as low risk through QAA’s stringent monitoring processes.
Our Diplomas are developed to meet the needs and aspirations of learners and the wider economy as well as the diverse and often unique needs of our providers.
Our flexible approach to delivery and assessment (including blended and online) and our proactive support allow providers to fully focus on their learners.
Our 14 Diplomas cover a wide range of subject areas that support progression into HE across the UK.
Our providers are also encouraged to propose the development of new Diplomas where the need exists.
