Purpose and Aim

To enable the learner to produce speadsheets using functions, absolute cell references and as templates.

The learner can
1. Be able to use multiple worksheets.
1.1Set up a spreadsheet for a given purpose using more than one worksheet.
1.2 Name worksheets.
1.3 Insert/delete worksheets.
1.4 Use copy and paste facility between worksheets.
1.5 Link cells between worksheets.
2. Be able to use complex formulae and functions.
2.1Use different formulae which require a combination of operations.
2.2 Use functions other than SUM.
2.3 Use a formula where absolute cell references are required.
3. Be able to create and use a template.
3.1Ensure spreadsheet is suitable for template use (cells blanked where appropriate).
3.2 Save a spreadsheet as a template.
3.3 Use template to create spreadsheet.
4. Be able to print worksheets.
4.1Print worksheet, selection or whole workbook.

Assessment Methods:

There are no prescribed assessment methods for this unit. Assessments used should be fit for purpose for the unit and learners, and generate evidence of achievement for all the assessment criteria.

Assessment Information:

1.1 A minimum of two worksheets.
2.1 A minimum of two formulae and a combination of a minimum of two operations from +, -, *,/.
2.2 A minumum of two other functions (e.g. AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT).
