Access to HE Practitioner Briefing
From 1 of August 2024, the Access to HE grading scheme will change as follows:
- The current seven Grade Descriptors will be replaced by three grading standards which will be applied equally to all units and across all assessments
- Grading can only be determined upon completion of all unit learning outcome and not at the level of individual assessments
Agored Cymru have scheduled online briefings that will provide a detailed overview for practitioners regarding the changes to the Access to HE Diploma grading scheme. We strongly recommend that those with the responsibility of delivering, assessing and/or internally quality assuring Access to HE Diplomas attend an Agored Cymru briefing on these changes. To ensure that all practitioners are able to attend a briefing, a number of sessions have been scheduled so that they can attend at a time which is most convenient.
