As an awarding organisation, Agored Cymru must, in accordance with equalities law, have in place clear arrangements for making reasonable adjustments in relation to the qualifications that we make available.
Where assessments are delivered and judgments are made by a Centre, it is important that staff are aware of the associated regulatory conditions; the eligibility criteria for reasonable adjustments, and how to apply appropriate methods of reasonable adjustments to assessment in a compliant manner.
This course explores policy, procedures and the application of reasonable adjustments in assessment tasks which ensure meaningful outcomes; enable the assessor to differentiate accurately; are practical for centres to deliver and motivate learners to do their best.
This is a highly participative course and is suitable for centre staff who deliver, assess or internally quality assure Agored Cymru qualifications or units.
