The Youth Achievement qualifications recognise and support the realisation of the Youth Achievement Awards, a UK wide young people’s programme. This is a personal development framework for young people and has been delivered by Youth Cymru since 1997. The qualifications allow young people, aged 11-25 years, to undertake participation activities that evidence and recognise community engagement. The Youth Achievement qualifications are restricted to Youth Cymru and can only be offered by Youth Cymru as part of the licence agreement with UK Youth.
