This is a two and a half hour interactive session designed as an introduction to the principles and practices of high quality assessment. You are required to complete a short pre-course activity which will help you prepare for the session.
At the end of this course, attendants will:
- understand the basic principles of assessment;
- understand what assessment is, levels of assessment and the types of assessment methods; and
- be equipped with the skills to effectively assess Agored Cymru units and qualifications.
Please note: You must attend this course before attending the Introduction to Internal Quality Assurance course.
To ensure that you can participate fully in the session, you should use a desktop or laptop computer, rather than a phone or tablet. Please ensure that you have a device that has a microphone and/or the ability to use a keyboard. While a camera is ideal it is not essential although we would like to see those participating in our session!
