Level Descriptors
The guidance on level descriptors is to enable practitioners to design learning and assessment plans for units and qualifications.
It will support Agored Cymru and its centres in the application of the Standard Conditions of Recognition (SCoR 2021) set out by the regulator in Wales (Qualifications Wales) and the General Conditions of Recognition (GGoR 2022) set out by Ofqual.
Language Level Descriptors
The aim of these language level descriptors is to enable a framework to establish a common understanding of the level, range and quality of language that learners should be expected to understand and/or demonstrate at each of the language levels, from Entry 3 to Level 4.
This common understanding is articulated through actual examples of language: providing the best guidance and most practical assistance for tutors and assessors in all foreign languages.
