Anne Lewis

Anne Lewis is Agored Cymru's Interim Chief Executive.

Since joining Agored Cymru in 2001 she has held a number of posts in quality assurance and business development.

Anne´s responsibilities span a wide remit. This principally incorporates strategic responsibility for business and product development, marketing, development, review and enhancement of quality assurance functions.

Prior to joining Agored Cymru as Director of Business Development, Anne worked within the Further Education sector. She specialised in Community Education and Commercial Horticulture. This involved roles in lecturing, examining, management and ultimately heading the School of Community Education within a college.

Anne has led on a number of Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW) projects partnering with the Probation Service, the National Offender Management Service, Sector Skills Councils (SSC), voluntary organisations and Further Education colleges.

Anne has a HND in Commercial Horticulture, Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 3 Award in Coaching and Mentoring, CMI Level 5 Award in Management Coaching and Mentoring and separate Assessor and External Verifier qualifications.

For five years, Anne was also the vice-chairperson of the Royal Horticultural Society examinations committee.
