Dr Angela Jones-Evans
Dr Angela Jones-Evans joined the Board in 2015 as an appointed member.
During her career Angela has worked in a variety of academic and management positions, including founder of research and training consultancy, Enlli Associates Ltd, Deputy Regional Director of the Open University in Wales, senior lecturer at the University of Northumbria and Head of Library Division at UWIC.
Angela is Communication and Strategy Officer for Dr Kay Swinburne, MEP for Wales. In her consultancy capacity, Angela is actively involved in helping women from all backgrounds through training, development and networking activities to become more involved in public life. Angela is working with Chwarae Teg and Cardiff Business School on delivering the groundbreaking Women in Public Life Development Programme, a mentoring scheme for women led by the National Assembly for Wales and championed by the Assembly's Presiding Officer, Dame Rosemary Butler.
Angela has extensive experience of designing and delivering accredited vocational qualifications and training programmes. She is also passionate about business and enterprise and has supported the delivery of the Wales Fast Growth 50.
Angela has a PhD in Information Studies, a postgraduate teaching certificate and a postgraduate certificate in Coaching to Inspire Leadership.
Angela is a Chartered Member of CILIP and Member of the Federation of Small Businesses.
