The Access to Higher Education Final Awards Board is responsible for the approval of the award of credit, grades and the Access to Higher Education Diploma.
An Agored Cymru representative chairs Final Awards Boards to ensure that due process is followed.
The Final Award Board will ensure that each learner has met the relevant rules of combination and the credit and grade profiles are accurate.
Centres must hold a pre-Final Award Board meeting prior to the Final Awards Board to internally confirm learner achievement on the Access to Higher Education Diploma.
