Denver Davies

Denver Davies is the Quality and Standards Senior Manager for Agored Cymru. Denver joined Agored Cymru in September 2010.

Denver’s responsibilities span a wide remit in assuring quality assurance across the organisation. This involves the development, implementation and monitoring of external quality assurance processes and functions. He also ensures that external quality assurance processes are customer focused and comply with regulatory requirements.

In addition, Denver manages the team of Quality Managers and the external quality assurance of centres to ensure that Agored Cymru’s awards are valid and that standards are maintained.

Prior to joining Agored Cymru, Denver was the Qualifications Monitoring Manager at ACCAC and subsequently, the Qualifications Regulation Division of the Welsh Government, where he was responsible for the regulation of awarding bodies and the monitoring of qualifications standards in Wales.

Denver holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and is a fluent Welsh speaker.
