Jo Creeden, Regulation and Qualification Manager is named Outstanding Contribution of the Year finalist at the national FAB 2018 Awards.
Now in its fourth year, the FAB Awards recognises the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year.
Kevern Kerswell, Chief Executive of Agored Cymru: “I am delighted to learn that Jo Creeden is a finalist in the Outstanding Contribution of the Year Award category. She has led by example and this accolade is recognition for her tremendous work ethic and energy that she brings to work day in day out. Combined with the team ethos she demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and is able to translate high level concepts into practical solutions that staff can understand and implement”.
Agored Cymru has also been shortlisted for two other categories, Collaboration of the Year and Innovation of the Year.
Jo said: “I am overjoyed and privileged to be recognised as a finalist in this award. I am fortunate to work with a team who share a strong commitment to learners and centres across Wales and who are open to new ideas and new ways of working to demonstrate best practice.
“While I thrive on new challenges and cultivating new ideas; it is imperative to acknowledge that it takes a team to take new ideas through to fruition. I consider this recognition to be shared with the awesome team who have taken onboard new ideas and approaches and worked alongside me to make the magic happen!”.
